Question from Nairobi: Hello,

I have a cherry joystick that’s having a little problem when hitting the micro switch, wonder if you can help? When I move to a certain direction it clips or goes above the little square button on the micro switch, is there a way to adjust the joystick to move down so it hits all the buttons evenly? Also love your video’s on YouTube, it’s help me out a lot.

Is it doing this on all of the micro switches or just the micro switch for a certain direction? If it’s all micro switches, you might need to remove a spacer from the top of the joystick insert. You could also try adding a washer or some other type of spacer before the e-clip to move the square activator up a bit. If it’s just one particular direction you’re having a problem with, it could be a bad microswich all together.
