Question with Galaga Caberet Arcade

Question from Gary: Hello, the right side of my Galaga arcade monitor is black (kind of like a black strip about 2-inches wide running from top to bottom of my screen. The ships can move into the black area so it does not appear to be a screen adjustment issue. Do you think the monitor needs to be replaced? Thank you for your time, Gary
