Sounds like you are looking for an Atari hall effect joystick. Unfortunately I don’t think that anyone repros them so they can be very hard to find. ArcadeFixIt.com has a NOS one for $328.90 which is a crazy price. They do also have some rebuild parts such as the PCB that are cheaper that might help you out. With that said, your best bet to get one at a reasonable price is probably going to be to post a request in some of the arcade forums like KLOV and CoinOpSpace. I would also keep and eye on eBay as they do pop up every so often.
