Sound problem
Question from John: I just bought a WWF Wrestlefest cabinet and when I turn it on there is no sound/music until I give myself credits (to which I can hear the credit sound) and once the select mode screen comes on the music begins. I’m not quite sure why it does this. There will be no sound until I put in the credits and select. If I don’t, (go to the select screen) there will be no music or sound until I do. Once the sound is on, it sounds perfect.

It sounds like the attract/demo mode sound is turned off on your WWF Wrestlefest board. It is quite common for this to be turned off as it can be disturbing to people at an arcade if the sound is turned on for the game but no one is playing it. In order to turn this on, you will need to modify a dip switch on the WWF Wrestlefest board itself. Please check out our post on Adjusting Dip Switch Settings On A Board for more information. According to the dip switch settings for WWF Wrestlefest (which can be found here: http://www.solvalou.com/subpage/arcade_dips/W/wwfwfest), dip bank #1, switch 6 need to be in the off position in order to turn the attract/demo sounds on. Once you make this adjustment, the game should play sound during the attract/demo mode.
