First off great site and great video tips..
I have one question , you maybe able to help me with , I have a Wells Gardner in my Star wars. and I am going to try to repair it this weekend. The R100 resistor is burnt. I am going to replace it , in fact I have the kit with resistors and transistors. My question is people say to change the resistor with a BRN/GRN/Blk.. a 15ohm resistor.. I cannot find a resistor with just the 3 colors. I have found some with the tolerance strips, of Silver,, My question is how important is the tolerance bands. what is the tolerance for this resistor I should be looking for.. or is there any. the kit I have actually has no resistors with these colors. so I am wanting to improvise with what I have. Will a resistor with a tolerance band work?

According to Tim, the tolerance strip should not matter and should still work regardless of the color. Your resistor with the right color code and the silver tolerance strip should work just fine.
