Street Fighter 3015 in 1 Conversion
Question from Don: Here is the story so far. So I wanted a Street Fighter 2 cab with over 3000 games. I found a cab locally that was originally a Street Fighter 2 CE; however, I converted graphics to Street Fighter 2. It’s a red 3 Koam cab. Original Wells Gardner monitor was changed out upon purchase as it didn’t work. What I have now is a monitor with a fan on board the chassis. Very hard to find information on it. Everything worked great though. I then hooked up the new board and power supply for it. The monitor fuse blew. I troubleshot a bunch and figured that the new board is blowing that slow blow amp fuse. Now, I tested the new board with an LCD tv and it worked great so the monitor and the board are good but together something isn’t right. The monitor is powered by the original power supply, not an isop transformer. I’ve had other people tell me it’s fine to change the power to a wall plug. Is that OK? My last resort is to use a CRT tv and get a converter box. Even unrelated but I blew my Street Fighter EX2 Plus board last night by pressing the player 2 button. So I got the guy I bought the board from telling me I need new wiring. I’m about to give up on this. If you can call me, my name is Don.
