Twitching screen
Question from Jody: I have a 1995 Marvel Super Heroes Capcom arcade game that I purchased a couple months ago. It powered up great for about 6 weeks but now when I plug it up the screen shakes and twitches for a few minutes and then stops and then the screen is offset and I have to adjust horizontal hold. Any idea? Thanks.

Response from Jonathan: Jody,
I emailed our resident monitor repair guy Michael (who’s in some of our videos). Here’s what he had to say: Issues like this are usually related to a B+ voltage regulation problem. If the monitor has a regulator I would change it along with all the caps nearby. The regulator will be close to where the AC comes into the chassis. If it doesn’t I would say a it’s a bad cap somewhere in the B+ line. He could also check DC on the main filter cap and see if that voltage is steady probably around 350 volts or so.
Hope that helps. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.
