Using a Wei-ya 22in 12pin chassis on a 20in tube
Question: Hi, I got a 20in tube and I had to get a 22in chassis. Now the issue is the horizontal width is too wide and the vertical width is too high when fully adjusted back and horizontal is coil adjustment not pot. Ohms hr 2.2, vr 52. Chassis says hr 1.1, vr 52. Can I add resistors in somewhere either on the yoke or chassis? It’s the only 12pin they make unfortunately.

Response from Jonathan: Yes, it should be possible to replace some of the parts on the chassis to get the horizontal and vertical to adjust properly; however, we are not familiar enough with this chassis to know the exact parts. You might try contacting the seller you bought the chassis from to see if they have any ideas about how to accomplish this modification. Some of the people we have listed under the Monitor Repair Services & Information heading on our resources page may be able to help you as well.
Hope that helps. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.
