You can change out the width coil, however, there is not one universal width coil that works with every monitor chassis out there. They are different depending on the brand and model of the chassis. The good news is that your Wei Ya chassis is similar to a Wells Gardner K7000 chassis which means that the same width coil MIGHT work for both. In order to know for sure, you might try contacting Chad at arcadecup.com. He repairs arcade monitors and sells width coils so he should know whether or not a K7000 width coil will work on your chassis.
